Via Umberto I\u00b0 snc, Alfiano Natta (AL)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L\u2019ex chiesa di S. Agata \u00e8 situata nella frazione di Cardona, nel Comune di Alfiano Natta, circa 300 metri a nord della chiesa parrocchiale. Eretta per la prima volta agli inizi del Settecento, la chiesa attuale venne ricostruita negli anni 1828\u201138 in un sito lievemente spostato rispetto alla precedente ed \u00e8 caratterizzata da un\u2019elegante architettura ottocentesca. L\u2019impianto \u00e8 a croce greca con cupola centrale ed \u00e8 dotata di abside, pronao neoclassico e campaniletto a sezione triangolare. Il pregiato portone ligneo intagliato \u00e8 coevo alla ricostruzione ottocentesca dell’edificio. Alla fine del secolo scorso l’edificio risultava notevolmente deteriorato, con coperture quasi del tutto crollate. Nel 2001 la Chiesa \u00e8 stata acquisita e poi successivamente restaurata dal Comune per essere attualmente utilizzata come spazio polifunzionale e per eventi culturali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
